At WESHARE-Uganda, we are a Christian-based organization that reaches out to every young person irrespective of their religious backgrounds. WESHARE-Uganda works in partnership with Newlife Presbyterian Church Kajjansi; this is one of the local churches that share the same vision to reach out to the community and make a difference. School outreach mission programs
WESHARE-Uganda reaches out to a number of schools both primary and secondary schools, a number of programs entail this mission.
School mission
The school mission involves a Health sensitization program that is fully packaged with general hygiene, growth and developmental stages, menstrual periods under reproductive Health sessions, with HIV sensitization programs, thereafter the students are grouped under different groups (considering age/ sex) to come up with group discussions. The school program touches a number of addiction series that address a number of addiction behaviors amongst adolescents, i.e. drug abuse, sexual behaviors like Pornography, masturbation; these are one of the leading causes of mental health-related illnesses as well as poor performances amongst adolescents. The school mission team too works with a number of people i.e. with Adolescents counselors, Health workers, social workers, psychologists, spiritual leaders (Reverends, care group leaders), Adolescent volunteers/peers, Peer careers. Our sexual and reproductive sessions intend to create awareness about HIV/AIDs amongst adolescents hence reducing the HIV infection rates amongst adolescents, through creating awareness, these sessions to are intended to curb teenage pregnancies amongst adolescents, these are the leading causes of school dropouts. The addiction series too intend to curb addiction behaviors amongst adolescents; we help adolescents on how to withdraw from these addictive behaviors. The career sessions are entailed with interests of what adolescents want to become when they finish school, these sessions are so encouraging to these adolescents; they emphasize the need to focus and stay in school and profiting their time on resources around them while in their school holidays.
Film show drive
The Film show drive is a wonderful community program that majorly involves a VBS in various places, which have a number of young people. The drive involves a projection of inspirational film shows that are related to touching and changing the lifestyle of young people, bringing about a positive attitude amongst them.
Back to School Bonanza
The Back to School Bonanza is a giveaway of scholastic materials to children going back to school. It usually involves reaching out to those children from needy families.
Community charity clean campaigns
At WESHARE-Uganda a clean environment gives a clean atmosphere. A community clean campaign involves advocating for a clean environment and saving nature It involves; cleaning the sewage lines, installing clean water supplies for people to access safe water for domestic use, planting trees, installing dust bins at the various communities, collecting rubbish in our community, helping renovate the feeder roads where community people find hardships to reach their destinations.
Community celebration parties (festive parties)
At WESHARE-Uganda we are always so joyous at celebrating each of our children’s Birthdays, it’s normally by surprise that we express the love that God has showed unto us, helping and using us to meet with people to make a difference.
Camps
Children camp
Know about the Annual children’s camp, at WESHARE-Uganda, the children’s camp is yet a big program where we gather a couple of children from various regions and have them for the 3 days camp. A lot more takes place at the children’s camp and every parent yearns to send their children for the children’s camp, these children too can’t wait to make it up for the camp. Our team works with a couple of key players to host the Annual children’s camp (we work with church children team leaders, women leaders in the community, other health agencies, among other players.
It’s just interesting that these children finish the camp with a big impact in their lives, various activities are carried during the children camp; (VBS, Bible lessons, Home responsibility, games, recreation, dance, singing, prize awards and camp fire among others)

At WESHARE-Uganda, we are a team that ensures that young people are grounded in faith and grow in the fear of God, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,” Psalm 111:10. Our team works closely with Newlife Presbyterian Church, Kajjansi, and ensuring that young people go through various disciple-ship programs.
