Our charity walk is yet an amazing program we do occasionally in our community; it’s such a touching and memorable experience that many of these families are left with happy smiles and not the same.
The month of December, it’s one of our giving months to our community, where we do reach out selflessly to a couple of disadvantaged and needy families, those in slum areas, those in the village settlements, celebrating and expressing to them the love of Christ.
Most of these families can barely get what to eat, some are children and adolescent-headed families, some are families with a couple of children in great need and some children are malnourished by their living situations. The team sends out earlier letters to key community leaders (to say women leaders, councilors) of our target communities, informing them of our need to carry out a mercy ministry in their locality, in a week’s time details of these families are sent back to us.
We give out food stuffs, clothing, candy; cake muffin to all the elderly people, every family gets a package during the charity walk.
Whichever amount, you give will help us reach out and share to make a difference. We shall indeed be grateful, thank you for your continued support of our charity walk.
