BE OUR AMBASSADOR

WESHARE seeks Ambassadors to help promote and represent the organization.

Our WESHARE-Ambassador Program is here, we are greatful that you are joining our lovely cause to make a difference in poor and marginalized communities which are the heart of WESHARE. Individuals, just like you have often reached out to us, expressing a desire to contribute in some way and support WESHARE-Uganda Child Foundation. Most of whom are of various backgrounds; both Professionals and non-Professionals who are desirous to be part of our life-long call to reach out in Uganda, Africa and the world at large.

We at WESHARE-Uganda, we believe that every individual, who wishes to give back to the community in some way should be given a platform to do so. We have designed our ‘Ambassador’ program keeping such individuals in mind.

Our Ambassador program is a group of social, professional, and philanthropic minded individuals who have a shared commitment to support WESHARE-Uganda Child Foundation’s vision to steward our love and resources bringing hope to the vulnerable children, children living with HIV/AIDs, adolescent boys and girls &teenage mothers to help them; build a brighter future for themselves, their families, and their communities.

These individuals are committed to supporting the vulnerable children, children living with HIV/AIDs, adolescent boys and girls &teenage mothers and our programs by becoming ‘WESHARE Ambassadors’ and leveraging their networks to further our mission to provide academic education, better health care, skills training, and professional development until these young people become independent and self-empowered, these are the future of our nation.

As a WESHARE-Uganda Foundation Ambassador, you will be responsible for:

  • Spread awareness of WESHARE-Uganda Child Foundation and its mission.
  • Post in companies ‘social media channels’ and personal social media platforms about WESHARE-Uganda Child Foundation at least once a Month.
  • The post should be created based on content provided through the ‘ambassador network’ newsletter or the WESHARE-Uganda social media community.​
  • Participate in various innovative ventures as well as Research and win Grants for WESHARE.
  • Engage with the WESHARE team and other organisation ambassadors through our LinkedIn Group.

Recommended Dates for posting: ​Will be provided through ‘ambassador network’ newsletter or the WESHARE-Uganda social media community.​

  • Help raise funds for the various programs.
    • Set a Give/Get Goal of $60 with the aspiration to reach $100 or more per year.
  • Help recruit resourceful Volunteers and Ambassadors.
    • Create (at minimum, one event) to support WESHARE-Uganda Child Foundation and invite people from your network to the event. (WESHARE-Uganda would support any of your event processes to realize great success)
    • All our ambassadors are our advocates for children rights and report to the local authorities any form of child abuse and violence against children.
    • All our Ambassadors will attend a one hour virtual meeting every quarter of the month, and an annual Ambassador meeting which will be both physical and virtual.
    • As a WESHARE-Uganda Ambassador, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn about non-profit work hands-on and make valuable networking in the NGO sector.
  • Any other ideas you might have.

Time Commitment: 

  • 1.5-5 hour time commitment monthly.

What are the benefits can offer for the ambassador?

  1. Certificate:

Ambassadors who achieves the target set by WESHARE-Uganda Foundation will be issued with achievement certificate.

  • Full Branded T-shirt and name tag from WESHARE-Uganda, (only     Ambassadors who attend an orientation either physical or online, and fulfill the objectives of the session will be given a WESHARE T-shirt and a branded name tag from WESHARE.
  • Our Ambassadors have an added advantage to be considered on various travel opportunities to represent the organisation.
  • All our ambassadors will be given a file, bearing the organisation vision and mission.
  • All our Ambassadors are entitled for a recommendation letter from the organisation in case of a need to further realize their career and professional  opportunities in life
  • Being an Ambassador to WESHARE gives you an opportunity to being part of our Annual Blog and video broadcast to share your amazing contribution towards charity.
  • All our Ambassadors will be added to our Emailing list to ease communication.
  • Being an Ambassador opens the door for a formal internship with WESHARE-Uganda Child Foundation if you so choose.

All WESHARE ambassadors in one way subscribe as members by payment of the annual subscription fee (of) as speculated in the WESHARE-Uganda Child Foundation constitution.
