#Giving #Love #Care& Hope
Early as we woke up with freezy skies, but later which turned out to a sunny skies, we made our final destinations through muddy and bumpy roads, deep in the slums we reached, to accomplish our heart-felt Charity walk 2022. It a was indeed a great honor extending the love of God throughout this festive season to many families and communities through giving them necessities like; foods, soap, clothing among others. Over 100 families (many of which are families in the slums with teenage mothers and single mothers) were reached out with a Chrismas package during the Charity walk 2022. These families are happy and blessed for the overwhelming love from WESHARE-Uganda, through you our dear friends; we received thousands of smiles, hugs among other welcomes. The event and success of this year’s Charity walk continued to bring us closer to families and communities; some of these families struggle with a daily meal, with children who go days on an empty stomach, hence being prone to mal-nutrition as well as other diseases, some of these families have their members bed ridden; (because of age especially the elderly and to some because of various illnesses). Through-out our mission we prayed with these families, believing God for provision and healing upon the sick. This year has indeed been a trying year amidst a number of challenges faced globally, being that many people and businesses were re-settling in the Post-Covid era. Tense as it has been, we (from the bottom of our hearts) would like to extend our great and heartfelt thanks to you friends who came to our cause to make a difference. Much of our support comes from your generosity that we are able to continue with our invaluable work of serving humanity. We are still in great need of help and we do pray that you will still support us with whichever support you can.
Special thanks to the Church of Newlife Presbyterian Church, Kajjansi and the Pastor, Pr. Mayanja Francis, who have always been part of our cause to make a difference, the Church has always been supportive through a number of resources that have enabled the success of a number of WESHARE Uganda Programs.
